Turn your bank CSV into a file QuickBooks accepts
Convert any bank's CSV or Excel export into a valid QBO, QFX or OFX file for QuickBooks, Quicken & Xero — in 60 seconds, right in your browser.
Advanced — bank identifiers (for "file not recognized" issues)
QuickBooks/Quicken use INTU.BID to recognize the file. Pick your bank above to autofill, or paste your own.
Free: up to 25 transactions per file. Pro (one-time $29): unlimited.
How it works
Download your CSV
Export transactions from your bank as CSV or Excel — the format almost every bank still offers.
Map & preview
We auto-detect the date, amount and description columns. Adjust anything and preview before you convert.
Import to QuickBooks
Download the QBO/QFX/OFX file and import it. Done — no re-keying, no $100 desktop app.
Why people switch to LedgerBridge
Your data stays yours
Unlike upload-based converters, your statements never leave your computer. Perfect for bookkeepers bound by client confidentiality.
One-time, not $60–200
Desktop converters cost $50–200 or charge monthly. LedgerBridge is a one-time $29 — cheaper than an hour of manual entry.
No install, any device
Works on Mac, Windows, Chromebook, even a tablet. Nothing to download or update.

Frequently asked questions
Is my financial data safe? Is anything uploaded?
Nothing is uploaded. The entire conversion runs inside your browser using JavaScript — your CSV/Excel file and account numbers never leave your device and never touch our servers. You can even turn off your internet after the page loads and it still works.
Which apps can import the files?
QBO files import into QuickBooks Desktop (via File → Utilities → Import → Web Connect) and QuickBooks Online. QFX files import into Quicken. OFX files import into Xero, GnuCash, and most accounting tools.
My bank only gives me a CSV. Does that work?
Yes — that is exactly what this tool is for. Many banks and credit unions dropped Web Connect/Direct Connect and now only offer CSV or Excel downloads. Drop that file here and get a proper QBO/QFX/OFX file back.
QuickBooks says "the file you selected could not be read" — why?
That almost always means the QBO is missing a valid INTU.BID (the id QuickBooks uses to recognize a bank). Pick your bank in the converter to autofill it, or paste your own under Advanced. See our troubleshooting guide.
How much does it cost?
Converting small files (up to 25 transactions) is free, so you can confirm the file imports cleanly first. A one-time $29 Pro license unlocks unlimited transactions and batch — no subscription.
Will re-importing the same file create duplicates?
No. Each transaction gets a stable unique id (FITID) derived from its date, amount and description, so QuickBooks recognizes repeats and will not double-import them.
